We submitted our ITA in November to the Auckland branch. After 5 months of silence, we had some requests for additional info. Then more silence. Then I finally plucked up the courage to ask what was going on. I got an email saying that the medicals had passed, the CO hoped to make a decision soon, everything appeared to be in order.

Now how do I respond to that? I could be happy but it's all so vague and it just feels like we're so close, and it's so important to us (not that it's not important to everyone else going through this process) and it feels like my head might explode from the strain of it all. So I just keep telling myself "Be cool". So far it's not working.

Sounds like good news, if not very strong in the 'definite' department :D

At least you can wait through the next period of not hearing anything with positive thoughts

I don't think this is the kind of situation we respond to with intellect and logic, do you? Feeling for you through the waiting time - but it does sound good. +++++++++++++++++++

Now that is really cruel of them. Hang in there. I would assume news is imminent!
:cheers
