Hi All,
An update on my application; previously I had applied from Singapore and my application (ITA Submission on 7th Oct'08) went through Shanghai office... meanwhile I had got a job in London and updated the same to NZ Immigration@ Shanghai and they transferred my application to London.. upon follow-up today they have reverted back saying.... "As per my colleague's reply, your application has been received. I have just checked and it is currently near the start of our managed queue and as advised should be allocated within the next week or so to a Visa Officer for processing."

Now that makes my heart skipping the beats.... just hoping to get a Visa office and jump across the continents...

You will be lot better off in London branch, processing time is short and most people get PR, while shanghai is notorious for delays and WTR instead of PR.
