hi guy`s, can anyone tell me does any job offer i receive have to come from an acredited employer, or is there another way? ive saw loads of roofing work advertised over there but none of them are acredited, thanks in advance.

AFAIK, if the employer is not accredited, they have to prove to NZIS that a Kiwi cannot fill that position...hence why it is being filled by an immigrant (i think????). I am sure someone will correct me if i'm wrong.

All you need to do is get your employer to fill out a Employer Supplementary Form –
Work Permit/Visa Application form. You can pull that from the immigration website.:nice1

What sort of visa have you got/applied for?

With OH's visa (WTR Talent Visa) you have to work for an accredited employer. Not sure about the other types, but it might help other forumites answer your query if they know what visa route you are taking.

Hi all, yeah i called them, i spoke to a really helpfull girl there who gave me loads of info, so it looks like ill be applying through them at first then securing a job whilst over there then go from there, all is looking good so far! still not 100% on which route to go but this is looking like the fav so far. ill keep you all posted!:bluebanana
