Hi,
My OH needs to renew her kiwi passport. To anyone that's done this before, how easy is this? What's the time frame?

Also are they issuing those new black passports with the silver fern, or the old blue ones?

I phoned DIA yesterday to ask the process about replacing mine, which is missing.
They said current processing time is about 10 working days, and if yu're replacing an expired passport you just need to complete the form on their website.

No idea about the change of cover though.
