At last, we have it, got the glorious email through today that we are wanted down under.

Thanks to everyone on the forum for their help and support throughout the process. It was a long slog, but we have now reached a conclusion. We just need to tie up all our loose ends and make the difficult break from family which is going to be very emotional.

Thanks JandM, I am delighted that I found this forum as it has been a great moral support and source of information for us. Really helped us through and understand the process.

We nearly chose an agent to represent us, and boy am I glad we didn't... We are now a few thousand ponds better off for that decision.

Thanks all, I thought I'd never get to see those bouncing blue banannas on my thread.

For those of you going through it at the moment, the wait to be allocated a CO is the worst as it is so long. But as soon as you get a CO, it seems to happen very quick.

There do seem to be a lot of us at the moment getting PR, they must do them in batches.

I ac tually don't think it has set in yet to be honest. I actually don't know where to start to get ourselves over to NZ. My OH wants to wait until after Christmas so she can have one more Christmas with the family all together. I think I am feeling very happy right now, but when reality hits, I am going to find t difficult moving so far away from all of our family. Tough times and decisions ahead...
