Interview last Tuesday, was told we should hear by the end of the week.
Emailed CO yesterday asking to be put out of our misery - she was out of office, training.
Resigned self to waiting till Monday.
Today, the postman delivered the letter.

Thanks. The photo is part of a set I do for a group on flickr called 365 Days - taking a self-portrait each day. I made sure we had bananas in the house because I was going to do a shot with blue bananas but was so ecstatic when I read the letter that I had to take that one then and there. I'll do blue bananas another time - when we get the stickers, perhaps.

Looking forward to meeting some forumites on the other side.

We did mention, in the interview, that we have been getting lots of info etc from this forum. Think it might have helped.

Actually, it's part of a project called 365 days (have I said this already) where people take a self-portrait every day for a year - some of the participants are into their third year, including a guy who emigrated from Staines (UK) to Australia last year. Some people only do one shot a week and do '52 weeks'. Photos don't have to be close up or even face: a hand with a new ring - a distance shot of you in your garden, your new shoes (on your feet) all count. I'm going to keep up it into next year if I can, to document the move.
