Good luck - Dunedin is a wonderful little city. If it's not too cold go for a walk in the Botanical Gardens to help get the blood flowing after the long flight! I'm not surpised about the tea invitation - same thing happened to us when were there!

Hi Helen

Lovely meeting you and your family on the plane over here.

Glad you are settling in and hope the jetlag isn't too bad (our kids have spent most of the day sleeping - why couldn't they do this on the plane?).

Enjoy Nz.:nice1

Thanks all, well we have spent some time travelling around see the sights in the rain!!!!!!!!!!!.visited 4 houses so far and have our eye on one which we have been looking at from England so watch this space. Will get IRD numbers sorted tomorrowand make appointments to visit work.OH starts in 3 weeks time myself when kids settled probably 5 to 6 weeks .Off to visit daughters school tuesday hoping to start het there the following week and have our eye on a school for our son depending on area we settled .Met OH manager last night over a meal and everyone has been so friendly and helpful.Unfortunately it has poured it down since we have arrived but weknow it musr eventually stop.Over jet lag and eager to settle. It already feels like home ,we are very settled the area is just perfect for us more than we imagined and I'm sure we will makee a go of it.

Really pleased you feel settled already. Once you get into the routine of daily life then it will all seem so real. Are you renting first or looking to buy?
