Please could someone help me with this. What exactly do the NZ nursing council require with regards to the transcript of training that needs to be obtained from the nursing college where the applicant trained? From what I can see they are asking for a detailed syllabus for each subject. Am I right in my thinking?

I was unsure what they meant by transcript to begin with. basically it is an official certificate detailing what you covered in your nurse training. some of mine looked really official (with a gold seal on one!). as soon as i contacted the universities i had done nurse & midwifery training at they knew what i wanted, so it was easy after that.

Yes, you are correct. The Nursing Council wants a detailed description of each nursing course and the clinical hours associated with each course.

Must the course description come from the nursing College or can the applicant do it?

It must come from where you trained or if no longer in existance then maybe the NMC maybe able to help.
