Our patience ran out last night so Andy dropped a quick e-mail to our CO asking if it was still on the cards that we'd here the outcome of our interview by close of business today. She called him at 08.20am this morning (on the way to work) to confirm we're 'Approved in Principle'. Thought he would turn the car round straight away, but think he's just walking around at work now, with a huge smile on his face :laugh

Anyway, thought I'd share our wonderful news with you all straight away. Thanks for all the advise and support you've all provided to us since we joined this wonderful forum in August.

Special thanks to Diny, who's been there for me at the other end of the phone many times over these past weeks and months :nice1 Enjoy you're 'party' tonight :cheers

I can now let you into a little secret ..........

PB had a great plan (well at least he thought it was great). He reckoned that his Kiwi accent would make things sound authentic - he was going to ring you up a couple of days ago and pretend to be somebody from NZIS and tell you that your application had been turned down flat 'cos, after making further investigations, they had discovered some 'unsavoury' details to do with your past.

I knew it would tip you over the edge so I banned him from doing it !!!!!

It's been a busy week. Andy took a week holiday to make a big dent in the DIY (painting) that's needed before we can put the house on the market. Walls took longer to cover though then expected, so didn't get as many areas done as intended. But then again, the areas he has done look really great :nice1
Will ask 'House Doctor Diny' for her expert opinion next week, as to what areas see sees as still needing some attention before I go and see the estate agent(s). To all those DIY-ers out there - got any spare time to come and help me ??? :mrgreen: :mrgreen:
