OH had the interview this morning- he's away on business so I am forced to get all the info secondhand (instead of driving him nuts eavesdropping;) ) All went well, except for the minor time change error- guess 1:30 GMT is 5:30 AM in Tucson, NOT 6:30 :laugh
Anyway, he sent me a quick email and said this:
"she mentioned the 'here's what happens from this point', with the three possibilities:
1. Denied (she said she sees no reason to deny our application)
2. Approved, 12-month period begins.
3. Approved for 3-month work visa. ...
Then, she mentioned the 'send back your materials before full approval and ask for resubmittal', which can give us up to 6 months to 'extend' the process in hopes of favorable conditions." (for finding work).
This is the first mention I've heard of the 4th option... Anyone heard this before??
We sent in our passports with the ITA, does this just mean that she'll send back the passports before she puts the blue stickers in, giving us the extra six months? Or is this another process that I haven't heard of before? I couldn't be bothered to get certified copies of our passports in the mad rush to send off our ITA, but honestly, the extra time doesn't sound bad provided that we're not going to get denied when it comes time for resubmittal.
What do you think??
anyway, YAY! I'm terribly excited and well, I'm sure the nervous stomach will go away in about 2 years ;)
:D
