Is there anybody on this list who has or knows of a house in Christchurch that needs sitting or a short-term rental for any period of time in July-August?

We are a family shifting from Southland up to Chch. Professionals, non-smokers and no pets. We know the city as we've lived there a few years ago - we're just looking for a house to rent while we look for something long-term.

Maybe this would work for any listees going overseas / back home - we'd be happy to look after any pets etc if this suits.

Sorry if you've already thought of this but bachs can be pretty cheap this time of year, especially if you can rent them for a couple of weeks.

We stayed in a holida cottage for 4 weeks, fully furnished and they even stocked up the larder and fridge for our arrival!
