Just got a call from our CO - we have PR! :cool

During the interview on Wednesday she said she'd let me know the final decision by Friday - I never really thought she'd make a decision in just two days! (And her letter to schedule my interview was sent on a Saturday - talk about working overtime!)

But I'd love to know how everyone is staying sane through this process. My head is spinning with all the logistics - putting the house on the market, scheduling shippers, finding jobs, moving, (trying to get final custody of my stepson), etc.! :uhoh

Will have to postpone worrying about all that stuff until the weekend - time to get out the good wine to celebrate!! Maybe even splurge on some dessert!

To everyone still waiting - hang in there - they are obviously working through the queue!

I got mine through a couple of weeks ago, and its' been very stressful trying to think and plan a million things at the same time.

Anyway, I jet off to NZ tomorrow, on Singapore Air. I dont like flying so I aint looking forward to it. Just a 2 week recce, hopefully will catch some good weather.

we aren't as far as you - docs holding us up. the nice thing about getting pr is you can make solid decisions again instead of living in limbo.

Actually, the London CO interviewed me herself - 4pm London time is 8am in Tucson so it worked out well. She was really nice, too. Used to live in Wellington so we chatted a bit about the neighbourhoods we were interested in.
