As the figure shows on the following page, there were 6 armed robbery within 2 weeks in Auckland, which is a city population a bit less than 1.4 million.

Also
Kiwi Bank spokesman Bruce Thompson said he knew of three Post Shops robbed in the past fortnight, including one where a screwdriver was used.
It is a quite worrying news.

But once quick question: Does bank in New Zealand open on Saturday or Sunday?
A man walked into ASB Bank at St Lukes shopping centre yesterday, threatened a teller and walked away with more than $3000. There was another similar robbery at National Bank in Newmarket this morning.
