Hi all

Rammer asked when the next NW meet is. Well there's a 'mini meet' taking place on Wednesday 4th May at 12.00 to say Hi to Debby & Keith (KD17) from the Isle of Man.

But we haven't decided on a next weekend date yet for after that. I would like to propose:

Saturday 14th May
or
Sunday 15th May

- this will be the last weekend Diny & boys will be in the UK and it would be great to give them a good send off. That is if Diny can make it that weekend ???? Previous weekend (7th/8th) no good for us I'm afraid.

So here's a poll, 14th or 15th any takers??

Sorry Babette, its the start of my silly season now. We're away (up to now) the weekends of 22nd April, 6th May, 13th May, 27th May. Supposed to be moving house somewhere towards the end of May too...if we exchange of contracts :roll: Hope we have better luck with a meet-up "on the other side", but will keep an eye on the dates chosen for future meets.

Can I pick a glamorous cardboard cut out to prop against the bar? :laugh

We are doubtful at the moment (grrrrrr). It's all Neil's fault - he runs a junior football squad and it looks as if it's the final for their division on the 14th so we'll be expected there!!

If it turns out he's got the dates wrong we'll definitely be there with bells on. Would love to see Diny and co before they set off on their adventure.

Will keep you posted tho. x

Jo - are you back???? A few of us have been trying to remember when you said you'd be home.

I'll ring in a couple of days - let you settle back and allow the jet lag to work it's way out of your system.

yeah - 14th still ok for me ...... however - we'll have to do another 'farewell' one a few weeks later 'cos our flights have had to be re-scheduled.

Oh what a bind ......... 2 get togethers instead of just the one. Well - it's a cross we'll all have to bear :cheers

Just a little thought. Now knowing Diny and Mark's predicament, i was just wondering if we could move this back 1 week to the 21st so we can include Mark as he will be back on terrafirma.

If its not acceptable and peep's are working around the 14th then understand, but if not what do you all say. It also gives one or two others a chance to make it as they couldn't make the 14th.

OK so I go off-line for 3 days (enforced PC cold turkey - virus removal etc) and you guys decide to totally change my social calendar . . . :uhoh :laugh
