Hi all,

Does anyone know for sure if there's an EOI selection today? It looks like it's being done every 2 Wednesdays, so I'm assuming...

Been refreshing the page every five minutes to see if there's any update...it looks like most people got the news within one hour of the selection being done, and that it takes place around 1 pm NZ time. Anyone experienced differently?

Hi there,

Yes, there is/was (depending where you are in the world) a selection today. If I recall correctly, we found out around 7:45-8:00PM on Tuesday, as NZ is 18 hours ahead of us. We logged onto the NZIS website and saw we were "Selected." Some time later, we received an email confirming our selection and under which circumstances as to why were selected. For us, it was because my work is under the Immediate Shortage Skills List.

Ah, well boo. I see that the results are out for yesterday's selection and they didn't pick anyone who didn't have a job offer, degree, or employment in an area of absolute skills shortage. The annoying - though understandable - thing is that OH has a degree in a future growth area though they won't award points unless she has a job offer, too.

I am just curious....where did they post that information? I checked the latest news page on the INZ web page and it wasn't there.

if u have work experience any of LTSSL, u will be selected regardless of job offer.

Do they always send am email? My status changed to selected but I never received an email.

us too Stelmate - I have been checking the INZ site like a crazy woman hoping for an update (since Wednesday!) but so far nothing! It says selected though, which gives me hope..!
