Ours was delivered on April 2, and we've not heard anything yet. Getting anxious! Is there anyone else who submitted around that time who has a CO assigned?
We are from the US so we're going through the London Branch. They rarely update their processing times, but they seem to be about 3 months behind on CO assignments according to their old numbers. I hope we hear something soon!
Thanks,

I would imagine that it is moving much faster these days because there must be a real downturn in applications.
I was told last year that it would take 9 months to use the ChCh office instead of mailing to the London branch (we are in NZ so we had the option since we lodged the EOI from the US)
Anyway, I went ahead and dropped the ITA off in ChCh and got an email telling me the documents were ready to be picked up in less than a week, and a CO in less than a week later. So, I think we got a CO assigned in about 10 days.
I don't know about the timing in London though.

Well, I submitted our ITA on the 7th April, and we were given a Case Officer two weeks ago (and had phone confirmation of PR just over a week ago), so you can't be too far behind! I think we were lucky in that everything was very straightforward (he wanted some extra proof of relationship status, but didn't ask for extra medical, which we had been anticipating as hubby was slightly over on his ALTs and cholesterol).

Things progress quicker if you are lucky enough to have a job offer. HTH. :)

Hi,
We submitted our ITA on 28th April but not heard anything yet, just playing the waiting game.
We have had job offers but not accepted anything yet as not made a final decision on area so the ITA goes through as no job offer. We decided the right area was the most important decision to make for the children then we will accept the jobs.
London branch have not updated their site since 15th may so we are hoping to hear from them by early august.
Fingers crossed.
Best of luck
Take care

Well, I was getting antsy, so I sent an online message to NZ Immigration asking about the status of my application. I received a response saying that Taryn Wilson is our case manager, and then directed me to the link on the London Branch homepage with general processing times (the one that is quite infrequently updated).
So, I assume that means Ms. Wilson is our CO, but I haven't actually received any contact from her. Is there anybody who had Ms. Wilson for their CO? Just curious how it went.
For the record, we submitted our ITA on April 2. We have 150 points and no job offer. I'm hoping we can slip in before any drastic changes are made to the immigration policy (seems like there's been some hand-wringing lately due to the recession). I also hope there's some civil engineering jobs to be had!
Thanks for listening!
