Hi everyone,
We are wanting to arrange/book to go to either the expo in october or the move2nz seminar in september. Can anyone tell us what the difference between them is? Which one is the best to go to get pension advice, bank accounts etc? and would it be best to go to both or would that be wasting our time and money?
Thanks for any advice

We went to 2 move2nz ones and they were really good, we met some great people there and received some good advice. To counter that, you can get the same advice on this forum or by getting in touch with Mike and Tammy directly. The advice from some of the other speakers was very clearly aimed at getting you to buy something from them (which is fair enough) so whilst still useful wasn't all that impartial.
We didn't go to the expo's but I imagine they might be better if you were looking for jobs.
For advice on bank accounts and pensions, I would suggest the expo unless move2nz have a financial speaker coming along.

We're probably going to both, Manchester for the Expo and either Leeds or Wigan for the Move2NZ. Hey it's only money and for these then it's only 1/64th of a kidney*
*I've now decided that it's easier to use units of organ sales to describe the costs involved in all this, saves 2 lots of FX conversions.

We're considering the move2NZ seminars, but more likely to go to the London Expo.. providing the list of exhibitors is longer and more varied than the recent one in Birmingham. That one looked like a waste of money, I'm afraid.
Our focus is on getting a job though, rather than other info, simply because hubby is Kiwi, we have a bank account and family there etc etc.
