Can someone tell me what exactly you all mean by PR?

My partner has been "approved in Principle".

He can go to NZ and leave (with a 2 year Returning Residents Visa) and then needs to apply after that if he leaves when he returns (hope that makes sense).

Are you guys classing this as PR or is that something else???

Yep that's PR. Well done.

Permament Residence means you can live in NZ for ever, unless you do something bad. :bobby
