Wow Ian - I'm just catching up on postings, can't believe how fast you got things back :eek :nice1 Seeing that so far we've been following the same days, I'll be looking out for the postman on Monday. They told Andy it could take upto 4 weeks, what were you told?
Also, can you tell me what you received with your passports. I take it any original documentation you sent with your ITA, but anything else too??
Really chuffed for you that things are moving so fast now. But you going on a reckie trip so soon does mean you're going to miss the next NW meet. Hope you can persuade Madge to come with the kids anyway, it'll be lovely to meet them.
Have a great weekend :cheers

Babette,
I told my CO that I was planning on a trip mid May. Looks like NZIS pulled the stops out to get my my passports well in advance. I think my CO said 3 weeks, but it only took 10 days ish.
I got everything returned, Original docs, and a nice letter. you should have yours anyday now for sure.
I will be in NZ from 13thmay for 2weeks and my wife Maxine & Kids will be coming to NW meet.

Thanks for that Ian. Not received anything yet, but agree it probably won't be long now :P
Will Maxine also be able to come to the 'mini NW meet' on Wednesday 4th May? If Jo B is also going (which I think she is) maybe they can share a lift? Would be great to meet her. Diny, Marie P, Keith & Debby (KD17) and me will all be at the usual gathering place (Salt Cellar J18 of the M6) at midday.
Good luck with the preparations for your trip. What plans / destinations have you got in mind so far?

Well I would have put them in a safe place, if I could only get Andy's passport out of his hands - since coming yesterday (and continued this morning) he must have had a look at the samp at least 30 times :eek :laugh :eek :laugh
But now he's gone to work . . . maybe I'll put it somewhere safe, and use it as a 'bargaining tool' when he's needing his next 'visa view dosage'
