Hi All
am looking at teaching adverts on edgazette and there are terms that I do not recognise

tagged position
untagged position
multi level class teachers
BT's (not BOT)
PD - professional development?

Any explanations please?

Wonder if BT= Beginning Teachers?

Yes BT is beginning teachers.

Tagged means it has some responsibility position attached to it, I think, but then why bother saying un-tagged? ! I'll ask on Monday at school.

Multi-level just means 2 or more year groups in one class. Rural schools can have several yrs ie NE to Yr 4 in one class.

HTH?

Can't sleep so have just been looking at adverts again on edgazette.

What do the dates mean after the name of the school and before the School Profile link?
Is it the date the job was 1st advertised? Some of the dates aren't chronological

Some jobs don't seem to have a closing date or start date which makes it all a bit trickier. How do you find out that information?

You're spot on with PD... we have it every Thursday morning before school. :wah

If there's a position you're interested in just email the school with any questions. They won't mind at all. I emailed so many times, by the time my job started I was already quite friendly with the heads PA! :uhoh
