With my NZ passport and my partners PR we are sorted, however his parents would like to go to NZ too.

Whilst I am sure most of you will agree that they should visit first and see what they think - they are purely thinking of the upset of missing us and our daughter.

I know they can visit on their UK passports for 6mths at a time - or 9mths with permission, but what they are concerned about is the 6mths back in England.

Both are retired and dont have much to do with any other family (partner is an only child).

Any advice - has anyone else had this problem ??

There is a catagory under Family - parents. So long as they have more children in NZ than where they are (easy as your partner is an only child) then I think they are eligable to apply. Check out the NZIS website under Family catagory of PR.
