Hi all!

Our medicals cleared on the second try and we now have a telephone interview with our Visa Officer on the 14th. I've looked up most of the info here and feel they cover all grounds. But here's an appeal to all who can add any thoughts/ideas/tips. Oh yes, and we also need alarms sent via ESP from you all who live further east from us - our interview is at 6 am (our choice!).

Our CO wants to do a face to face interview when they next come to SA. Any ideas why they don't do a telephonic interview with us? It seems the norm for South Africans to have a face to face interview? weird!

Thank you. I, too, have wondered why applicants from some countries need to have face-to-face interviews and others don't! Perhaps someone in the forum has the answer for this.

Good luck, they asked us for short answers as they type in the responses, very impersonal but I think that was just our CO. Then everything goes off for decision, be positive!
