Hi to all,

If all goes ok, I'm targetting to end-up in NZ by next year 2010.

What are the good areas to stay in Wellington and also where I can rent CHEAPLY;)?

The same question applies to ChCh? since I'm not sure where to end-up, though it depends where i get a job. I've heard that IT is more prominent in Wellington & ChCh.

By the way, any indication of the rental price of a cheap accomodation for a single person till my family comes to join me later.

Thanks

JM

JeanMarc--try searching for other threads on this topic--it has been discussed a lot. Christchurch is going to be cheaper than Wellington. If you want to rent cheap, you'll have to share a place. Nothing on your own is going to be cheap.

I don’t agree

There is plenty of cheap housing in the Wellington region, because there are two cites close to one another. You can rent cheap in Lower Hutt and commute to higher salaries in Wellington.

It also depends on what your definition of cheap is. What's cheap to you may be expensive to someone else.
