2 questions:
does anyone have an opinion on 599 vs 15 per month.
and a phone and Internet provider?

Phone/internet we are with orcon, no complaints at all... we have the platinum plan which gives 25gb a month (and you can buy more if you need it) and you get free international calls to one country, and free local calls too. $120 a month... :)

Is the unlimited plan the one that slows everyone down when it is busy?

Telecom had a lot of trouble with this plan and a lot of unhappy customers, I assume as it would appear that the plan is back that they have managed to fix the issues.

If you need speed and not so much data caps, you may want to check out their other plans instead.

BTW, when you get My Sky HDi, if the remote doesn't seem too responsive then you may need to get an IR filter.

We have no complaints with Telecom broadband, we get 40gb a month (Pro) as OH works from home a lot :) Just had a look at the Big Time seems a good deal if you're not going to be using it when everyone else is on :uhoh

We haven't bothered with My Ski HD, as for us there isn't enough to record and watch on TV:o But know people with it and they think it's fantastic, worth the money.

599 v $15 a month, I'd go for the one off $599 that way you're not paying any more than that :nice1
