Ok, I have probably just been ripped off by the local post office, but we needed to send off all certified copies of hubby's City and Guilds certificates, plus the EWRB (Electricial Workers Registration Board) form to Wellington from the UK.
Now I am probably being a bit over cautious but I sent it via the tracking system but in the envalope I also sent (on the advise of the lady in the post office) International Postal Coupons, so the EWRB can send any stuff back to us but this just cost me £21.61 for an envalope that weighs 165 grams!!!!
:uhoh
Has anyone else had to pay this much for such a small letter or have I been had by our friends at the Royal Mail??
Just thought that I would add that I have always found the British postal system in the UK great and that I do not have it in for the Post Office in anyway shape or form.:exit
