I found details not only of the house (rates, imrovements etc.) but also boundaries, water services drains and also aerial photographic pics which allow you to zoom into any (fully labelled) house down to the level of a car or garden bench!

AND! also found:

which will give you a valuation on the house and all surrounding sales.

All I have to do now is turn up with my paintbrush and do the place up!

Can't beat being there in person but it seems as though the only thing you cant tell about a NZ property is what it sounds or smells like!
