Hello,
I'm new to the medical system in NZ and I want to ask you about the procedures that I have to follow.
Long story short, I have a problem with my nose that it's been bugging me for the past 10 years. I've been to some doctors but they weren't exactly sure what was wrong and their only solution would be to break it completely and fix it (apparently it's not completely straight and this might cause it).
I have a Southern Cross insurance and it also covers pre-existing conditions, so I'm covered.
I am in Wellington and I'm "subscribed" (is this the correct term?) to the Mana Medical Centre.
Now the question: What is the process to follow? Should I make an appointment at Mana Medical Centre and they will send me to a specialist?
Can I go directly to a nose specialist? Can you recommend a good one?
Thanks.
