Well, I think we all made it. Sorry I am so bad with remembering names, I will need some help to match some people up to the picys. Great to finally meet everyone at last, and look forward to the next one, provisionally 5th June.

Hi All

What a fab time. Have finally got Gemma and Cameron into bed - both overtired and overexcited and not keen to sleep tonight!! Thanks to the bigger kids for the wonderful job they did looking after our two!!
I've e-mailed some pics to Timbo to post (a couple of good ones I think) - so hopefully he'll get those on sometime soon for me.

Wonderful to put faces to names. I really look forward to the next meet - June 5?

Well done guys !!! Looks like you had a really good day. I know how you all feel .... these meetings are great fun aren't they ... and so helpful.

Bubbles .... what a lovely looking family you have.

But what I want to know is .......

Who are the couple snogging in the background ?????? Is it Mr & Mrs Timbo ?????

God there is as well - obviously not much to eat. In fact they are nearly over the table :laugh :laugh :laugh

Timbo

NOT GUILTY!!!
They were not part of our party for certain. The food was actually very good by pub standards, I thought.
The only drawback with the venue (imo) is that it just happens to be a two minute drive away from Lakeside shopping centre, and Sarah has developed a sudden urge to go clothes shopping at every oportunity. Her reasoning being that the choice will not be available in NZ, so best do it now.
I think I may just "accidentally" leave my credit cards at home on the 5th June. ;)

Timbo,
Probably a very wise move mate. Was thinking along the same lines myself. :nice1

Marie,
As I'm sure you are aware. The fairer sex much prefer the blokes spending their hard earned cash rather than them going to the hassle of having to rummage through their handbags only to find that " Oh dear, I must have left my purse at home dear " type excuse anyway. :uhoh

Why do you ladies carry a purse/handbag when shopping with your fellas, if you have no intention of ever useing them. :no

Beats me

Its to carry the plasters, tissues, scissors, needle and thread, old til receipts, sticky sweet wrappers, screw driver, car keys, hairbrush, make-up, spare set of car keys, more til receipts and wet wipes of course :laugh

Timbo
3rd May 2005, 07:20 AM
Hmmmm. No money in there then Frances, but plenty of till reciepts. :laugh

Bubbles

Oh, ok.
I must have got the wrong end of the stick. So, with all that gear hanging on one shoulder, wouldn't it be much more comfortable carrying a rucksack ? ;)

...they weren't so cute when it came to bedtime - but thankfully last night they were back to normal. Really enjoyed the meet up - couldn't fault the baby-sitting service. I'll have a look at putting Debs photos on the forum this evening (using Timbo's instructions).

Cheers

YAVW Karen.
I think that next time out, we should maybe get the cameras rolling before anybody has to leave. Sorry to those that did not get put in the frame, so to speak.
I`m glad that you guys and girls got the picture posting lark sorted. Now you can get all those great holiday snaps on here too.
