OK, I just made my next plane. I know some of you don't like the planes but I'm quite proud of my "Future NZ Guru" status!

Thanks to everyone who contributes to this forum, don't think we could (would) have done it without you!! :clap :clap :clap :clap :clap :clap

I think that NZQA should recognise planes as a commitment to New Zealands intrests. Also that the NZIS should award extra points to us lot.

Just think Mark, when you get to 'guru' :? status it means that everybody else on the forum gets at least one step nearer too as they all congratulate you :laugh :laugh

markkellaway
29th April 2005, 09:14 AM
That is true Veronica, in fact a few have got pretty close just doing that!!! :laugh

I don't think I'll ever make guru though, as the forum grows it gets more difficult to contribute meaningful information, if that makes sense. :?

Mark. :P

P.S. John sent me your picture, you won't be able to avoid us now when we get to Christchurch!

Well done with your planes.

Not sure how many I am up to, but know what you mean, I keep reading things that I don't really have anything to contribute too, and then feel slightly guilty when i write a question as I haven't helped anyone for a while.

But that is the nature of the beast so to speak.

Just got an email about an interview, so I will let you know if they have started asking about the planes.

Must get back into congratuating people been too busy lately, got to get more planes. got to get more planes........

Bye.

Remember Mark ..... as soon as you do actually get to be an NZ Guru you have to instantly claim that the title and the planes mean absolutely nothing to you. :laugh :laugh :laugh :laugh :laugh :laugh :laugh

The plane status here is all a bunch of tosh... the "status" bars as they're often referred to on other forums merely indicate a persons involvement in a forum (but then apparently I have to say that as I'm a "guru" albeit a moderator  )

I never look at someones status - the content of their post is far more relevant. Some people come onto this forum having already gone through the PR process, some come on here having no experience of NZ or the immigration experience at all - yet both start at the same point.

Perhaps we ought to get the status levels changed to:

Spent some time on ENZ
Spends too much time on ENZ
Having counselling for amount of time spent on ENZ
Hopeless ENZ addict

I'll second that Moorf - whatever did we all do with our 'free' time before we started on the NZ rollercoaster? :laugh :laugh

:laugh :laugh Our medicals, that we had in the UK, ran out before our ITA arrived here in NZ so we had to do them again... I was gutted as I'd put on 2kg since arriving!!! So much for my "healthy" new lifestyle in NZ huh!! :wah :wah

Moorf - what time is it out there? Are you an insomniac? And is it true over there as well as here that calories eaten in the dead of night don't count? :nice1

Can only say that I hope to be in NZ too when I have posted as many messages as you have Veronica ;)

And now it's time to turn off this thing again, I have a book to read!
