They usually go on sale just before Crimbo - we got smaller one from Warehouse for $150ish last year :) You'll have to factor in fencing costs for one that size too :yes

I did hear a cheeky rumour al! the hot tub vs ground pool debate rages on so going for a temp solution to see what use we get or whether well be at the beach!

Have you looked at getting an Endless Pool? SO then you'd have space for both the pool and the hot tub in the garden.

I paid $410 for one of those at the Warehouse in November last year. I think they were 30% off at the time. A new one comes with a ladder BTW.
The older 15ft ones have plastic frames and can crack because the sun makes them brittle. The new ones are metal and come with a skimmer as well as the pump.
Unfortunately you supposed to put a fence around it to comply with the Building and Fencing acts as the walls are less than 1.2m tall. Many people don't though.
We started off with a 10ft one then upgraded once the kids got a bit bigger. They love playing in it and last year we bought them wet suits too so that they could stay in it longer because the water tends to take a long time to warm up unless you have a heater.
