Which Verification after the Interview ???

Hi,

I had interviewed on the below mentioned my time line and 2 days back i sent email to my CO asking her the status of my application after the interview as one month is already passed and i told her that i have seen some time lines from UK INZ they are very quick in announcing the result after the interview.
I got her response stating that "Please note that INZ London office and Shanghai office are processing applications from different labour market. The application is under the verification. We will let you know when we can."

Now i don't understand what kind of verification is this still going on after the interview which they don't do in London for UK residents. Is this verification is about the employer / work experience verification ??? or some other kinds of verification going on like checking with security agencies etc etc.

If any one know plz clear it for me.
Thanks and best regards.

Search through my posts.. She is referring to special security checks..
Ian also mentioned it some where..
The process take months so be patient. One you will go through these checks, you will most probably got WTR or even PR.
So be happy and wait

Good luck

Thanks Syed for your input. Doesn't it mean that they are verifying my employment details with the employers with whom i worked in the past ? I thought it was it and its really teasing in the sense that why don't they did it when my application was been dumped in the queue the whole year ?

If that is not the thing then the same thing i would say why they didn't do special security check in that time (the whole previous year).

Its really frustrating indeed.

I saw some Philpino's getting WTR/PR (rarely) with in two months after the interview. It means they have to go through the same process of security check. But looking into your timeline SYED i can assume that for Pakistanies they will take longer time and i might not get a response in 3-5 months.

Merely reading what she wrote, not thinking of it as meaning one particular procedure that will apply to EVERYBODY...

I think saying it's 'under the verification' (which is peculiar English anyway) could be taken to mean that something about the application is being checked. It could be as simple as your paperwork being in a pile, waiting for a second officer, or her supervisor, to look over what she's done, and tick a box.

Jand, may be its with CO supervisor or its in final approval process but i dont think that it should take a month+ as previous record of Shanghai states it be 5 month process

See, that we had an interview one day after you and just received the news this week. I was also worried, as many here on the forum seemed to get answers within 48h. But sometimes no news is also good news. So i keep the fingers crossed.

r.:nice1

thanks 2310 for your input and kindly note that your application was being processed in UK branch and mine is in Shanghai Br and look at my CO's response she said clearly UK INZ and Shanghai INZ are dealing with different labor markets So i think your application result was announced a bit late compared to other UK applicants becoz you got PR after a month while others got the answer in 1 or 2 weeks after the interview.

FYI. Our interview was done on 26 Aug (Shanghai br.) and no news till now. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do but wait.

I know the waiting is excruciating and I am sorry for you that it is taking so long. And with no information at all? Just awful.

Just wanted to say that I hope it all works out well for you!!

Good luck!

hey Ben2008 what you CO says after the interview how much time they take to release the result?

I asked and she said in 2 months your result will be declared. So still hoping to get it in time but it don't look like i will be.

Virgo, we followed up with an email, and the CO replied "..standard processing time is 1 yr" . No further explanation. Not much help at all.

Thks GrumpyG. I cannot describe how excruciating and painful the wait is in view of what we face with our daily lives in our part of the world.

"Hope for the best. Prepare for the worst. "

Wow! that must have been huge effort to resurrect this 2 year old thread ;)

It seems that verification (and processing in general) has been fast these days, so fingers crossed and hope you hear good news soon :nice1
