When we moved here from the U.S., we knew we'd be missing some of our favorite shows on television. We're not at all big television watchers, but have a few we really enjoy. We've found a *great* website which allows you to watch all American show online. It's called Hulu (www.hulu.com) and is fantastic! The one thing we initially found is that it would only allow computers from U.S. IP addresses. So, we set up a IP address blocker from Hotspot Shield which made our IP address look like it was coming from New York. And voila! You can watch high quality, free, commercial-less shows online now.:clap Last night we watched the most recent episode of "The Office" :)
Just thought I'd pass along something that we absolutely love. Enjoy!

also I would like to add, do visit http://www.slashcontrol.com/. I have been using the site for about 2 months now.
They have free tv shows and also free movies as well. They have a good collection of some old war movies.
Cheers,

A great idea to get past the IP censors!! But I had some issues with Hotspot shield--weird ads appear everywhere.
I had to remove the whole thing

They have recently posted a newer version of hotspot shield so I re-downloaded it and tried again. No luck.
Hotspot shield does work for The Daily Show, Colbert (Comedy Central) and Pandora so I'll keep using it but if anyone can suggest another free proxy that works for Hulu, I would love to try it.

Yeah, hotspot shield kills my internet connection after a minute or two. I use either www.watch-series.com or www.surfthechannel.com to watch US shows online

Not sure why the Hotspot Shield isn't working for some? Once installed don't forget to turn Hotspot Shield on. Perhaps try using Internet Explorer instead of Firefox. I haven't had problems with it yet.
Once installed, you'll see that it gives you a little icon that you can enable and disable. When it is not "on", the little shield icon in the bottom right hand corner of the task bar is red. Once it initializes and is on, it turns to green. To turn it on, put your cursor over the red shield icon and it'll bring a grey popup bar that says "connect" click on that and it'll start the process of connecting.

another place to watch shows from both USA or the UK is quickflicksnow.com
you will get a pop up when you first choose your show but they do stop when you actually pick the site to watch your show from...

Best website I've found since they shut down TV Shack. Good mix of American and English shows. No need to block or download anything!
