If you are paying to ship a container and it (whaever you thought of selling) will fit in the container then bring it. It will be worth more here secondhand than in the UK.

It may mean there is one less thing you have to buy in a rush (hence not getting a good deal)

cleaning it shouldn't be a problem - just get rid of all the organic matter - grass and mud etc. If you can take the lid off the motor and cleanout all the dried grass from inside the motor vents.

Why did you need a mower in London?

we have a lawn - kindof/ london size! were going to gift mower to new owners until saw the price of replacement and had a few pot buyers through while in the house...

who knows where will find time but going to try cleaning. as you say, too pitiful to leave behind and then replace with something inferior. have done before - harsh. surely the cleaning fee if we fail is less than replacement? has anyone been nailed for this?
