Hi guys!

It's been a while since I last visited the forum, I've been busy exploring NZ and seeing a bit of the country and then settling down in Wellington. I love this city!

Well, after a couple of months in Wellington and securing a job offer, I finally received an email this morning from my case officer approving my permanent residency! :clap :raebanana

I can finally relax now :)

So how did it work? I think you are suppose to wait for 3 months after getting a Job offer in order to get a PR. Isn't it?

Coz I'm also in same situation. My CO issued WTR and I have to get a Job offer which lead to PR.

Windy! This weekend gone was absolutely perfect, it's been mixed this week but it's definitely getting better.

So how did it work? I think you are suppose to wait for 3 months after getting a Job offer in order to get a PR. Isn't it?

Coz I'm also in same situation. My CO issued WTR and I have to get a Job offer which lead to PR.

It actually took 2 months to the day from when I left the UK to having PR approved, although I started the application process in January this year.

I managed to secure a job offer just over a week after arriving and then after a little to-ing and fro-ing with contracts and medical questions, my PR was approved. It's my understanding I do have PR as opposed to WTR - certainly my case officer hasn't mentioned anything about WTR and the INZ website says "Visa : Residence : APPROVED" so I'm assuming it's full residency.
