Cheapest is generally Royal Brunei from the times I've looked.

Only one change but I think that you stop in Oz for refuelling, change planes in Brunei, and then stop in Dubai for refuelling.

I've flown them a few times (a couple of times UK to UAE and once UK to UAE then UAE to Brisbane) and they are fine. No booze on board but service is good.

There are better options but every time I've looked Brunei have come out cheapest!

The price will depend on what date you want to travel on, so if you list this then if anyone spots a suitable offer they can post the info.

Have you checked the Flight Centre as they are today advertising return flights to London from $1689 per person departing Auckland, no idea if this is via US?

Just booked my return tickets from uk to NZ and the cheepest i found were MalaysiaAirlines hope they are as cheap in the opersit direction

I've got tickets booked with Royal Brunei in March next year for $3200 for 1 adult and 1 child.

It's not the best perhaps, but it definitely seems to be the cheapest! :D

Looking at matrix.itasoftware.com, the normal prices in the system would say that check out Etihad, Emirates, Air France and Singapore Airlines. About $2000-2300 NZD per adult is the "normal low price".

BUT there's nothing normal in the airline prices, especially in economy class, so the special offers for your time of travel may put any airline the cheapest.
