Where Can I Find a Blackboard?

My lovely wife would like a smallish blackboard to hang in the kitchen. This would make a great Christmas gift if I only had a clue as to where to find one. Any ideas? We're in Christchurch but mail order would be OK. Thanks!

we used blackboard paint and painted a cupboard door... its worked well!

I was in an Auckland Post Shop yesterday and they had small rooster shaped blackboards which would be ideal for a kitchen.

worth having a look in the home furnishing shops (briscoes, farmers and harvey norman) or try the smaller kitchen shops (of which there are many!) or even the 2 dollar shops might have them ;) although i would think you would want to spend a little more on a nice one for a present

There's one on IQ Toy's web site (http://www.iqtoys.co.nz/). They charge $6 postage to anywhere in NZ.

I also painted a whole wall in my kitchen. Plus a cupboard door in the office. You can get chalk pens now on the internet too but found you need cif/jif to get it off.
Another way is to use whiteboard pens on your fridge, if they are smooth, for shopping list and reminders. Test small area out of sight first. Just washes off and is really visible.
