On a NZ programme called "Close Up" earlier tonight they focussed on the need for truck (big rig?) drivers in Oz... Western Australia to be exact. Apparently salaries in excess of $100k can be expected - they are coming to NZ to recruit for the big mining co's that are desperate for more drivers.

Thought this might be interesting to some of our members. I couldn't find anything online about it though, sorry.
