Quantas. ? I have just booked my flights for a recki trip to Wellington on 19th may staying 12 nights. Cost £875. Just wondered if anyone else has booked online at www.quantas.co.uk would share their experiences.

I am staying in the Just Hotel on Willis Street, WiFi in room!! its low season so got a rate I could'nt refuse! Anyone stayed there?

Any one fancy a pint? :P

Hi Ian. We just got back from Wellington yesterday, and we flew Quantas. We liked them. The food was good (they remembered our vegetarian request both ways and even the veg. alternative was great which is unusual). The flight attendants were very nice. We were supposed to be stuck with an 8 hour layover in Auckland before our hop to Wellington, but when we got there they put us on the next flight out instead. My husband liked the service so much he's going to write and thank them.

That said, we have never flown Air New Zealand, so can't compare.

Oh, one thing. When you check in, ask if the flight has room left. They offered to move us to the back which was empty, and they blocked the seat between my husband and I so that we had three seats and could move a little more - really nice on a 12 and a half hour flight! Of course, frequently those flights are full, but they were able to do that for us both ways by moving us to the back of the plane. I was surprised, but they said it was no problem. :clap
