Just been checking the flights out for a few months time. Singapore airlines however are coming up with slightly costly flights! When I checked prices online, no matter what date I put in it came up with a one way price for 2 adults and 2 children of 11700 pounds!
What am I doing wrong?
It looks like we are going to have to go with SA just to keep our kids occupied with the inflight entertainment.

My flight with Singapore Airlines is about £850, but that's going during the UK summer 'peak time' (flying 29th July returning 21st October).
I think if you go onto other websites you might get it cheaper, I think I ended up on opodo. Having said that I don't think the Singapore Airlines site was THAT much more expensive.
Maybe if you go to a site specially for your country ie co.uk, I'm sure I have some airline quoting me £4000, but when I went onto the UK site it was much cheaper.
Good Luck.

Were flying with Thai Air (in Dec). They were a couple of hundred cheaper for each ticket than the other air lines. Also, we got 3 nights in a hotel in Auckland free - still dont quite understand why, but Im not complaining!
Dont think their planes are as luxurious as others, but they seem to do nice food and I can live with cheap and chearful! :nice1

We booked our flights yesterday with Trailfinders in Bristol. We are flying from London Heathrow on the 18/07/05 to L.A. from L.A. to Auckland and then Auckland to Wellington. We considered flying to Singapore, Sydney and Wellington but as this is the height of the British holiday season we could not get the migrant baggage allowance as the planes were full (This increased the allowance from 20 Kgs each to 40 kgs) but flying across the states gave an allowance of 62 Kgs each!
The price was £2500 for 2 adults and 2 kids.
Cheers,
Chris.
