And beautiful it is too. For those of you already here and know the place, we are at the corner of Nayland and Stoke for the next month or so. For those of you still in the UK (hi Nicola and Cath) you will probably find this a bit annoying. Ah well.

We are a bijou strollete from the gorgeous beach and life couldn't be better. We'll be looking at schools shortly before starting to look in earnest for longer term rentals.

Our furniture isn't due to arrive for a while yet so any PC time will be whatever I can grab in the weeks ahead.

As I keep saying to Mrs Creelara when we glance upon yet another piece of our beautiful surroundings..."We live here now".

Thanks creelara

Its good to hear you're over there and liking it.
A short while ago this morning I was looking out the workshop windows admiring a beaut' of a sunrise, just letting my mind wander, imagining what it was like on the other side. :smile

I guess I'll find out soon enough for myself :nice1

Hi John

No not annoyed at all. Glad to here you are there, it makes it so much more real for me.

I was just saying to Peter last night only 4 1/2 months to go. Yikes. :eek. So we should see you over there by October, fingers crossed.

But we still have our house to sell.

Keep in touch and let us know how you get on.

How did the stop over in Singapore go, where did you stay, and what was it like? I have so many questions.

Good luck to you, your wife and the girls. See you in October.

Yay Sumner :clap my fav place ;)

Welcome - you've picked a lovely spot. We lived just by the corner of Stoke and Naylands opposite the police hut (sorry, station!). :laugh

Don't forget to pop into Urban Surf and say hello (I'm not working for the next week :clap but Jo will tell you when I'm in next). Worth a trip just to get your fleeces ;) it sure was a BEAUTIFUL day today in Chch and you'll be spoilt with the temps for the next day or two but that cold will soon be back to bite at your toes :eek

Hi there, congratulations and welcome to simply the nicest place to live on the planet. Well, I would say that, wouldn't I!!

We are about 10 mins walk up the road, or put another way, about four minutes from Wakefields pub. Lovely.

Can arrange to meet up if you'd like. PM me with your house number and I could knock on the door next time I'm passing. Moorf will vouch for my character, possibly.

:smile

Thanks to you all for your good wishes.

Cath...congratulations on getting your approval, :clap that next Scottish meet in CHC is shaping up nicely.

Nicola...Singapore was fantastic. I'll get my phone number to you (when we have one) and I'll tell you all about it. We had a taxi driver take us all around the city for the whole day, a lovely man, I'll give you his number.

Dan...thanks for the offer, don't mind if I do. We are at 67 Nayland, drop a note in the wee letterbox thingy if you are passing.

Moorf...I will indeed stop by and say hello, don't know about the fleece though.

See you soon.
