Hi COS

I'd use internet cafes it is the simplest. If you really need the flexibilty of having access at your fingertips you could look at the expensive option of using a laptop / mobile phone combo. I don't know how quickly the NZ mobile phone market has embraced 3G ( I think it s called) which is the new generation of mobile phone techno.

I'd stick with internet cafes.

Slingshot (no doubt amongst others) do a no call charges dial up package - costs $60NZ for 3 months - unlimited access no call charges. www.slingshot.co.nz

No doubt tesltra and telecom and xtra do similar packages. Fine if you are going to be living here - maybe a bit expensive for a 2 week stay?

www.paradise.net.nz

I have been with this company for 9 years now and totally happy with the service.
$20 gives 250 hours per month.
I have recently moved to broadband with another company but still maintain my email via paradise ($10 gives 100 hours?).

You can either use a mail program on your own PC such as Outlook, or you can log onto the paradise home page and access your mail direct.

Whenever we move around the country, I use the paradise toll free number to access my account.
