Hi,
I haven't been on here in ages, we had so many things happen to turn our NZ dream upside down, but while I am recovering from my mental meltdown, I have decided to try one more time.....my case officer is still holding open my EOI (he's been great) and my last try will be to get my husband's electronic technician background verified and points awarded. Right now I can't find the school (from 1983!) in Los Angeles, it must have merged or gone out of business, anyway, he has no certificate from them, but does have an FCC license for radiotelephone operator. Should I try to do something with this? I also have the name and addresses of places he worked, but the last time he was in this field was 1996, does that matter?
Any advice would be most appreciated. In case anyone remembers me, to brind you up to speed, my 'slam-dunk' job offer turned out to be @#$%%^, the NZ guy wrote to my case officer that he had decided not to hire me this year - news to me!! - and of course, NZIS wouldn't keep anything open that long. I have never heard from the so-called job offer guy again.
I'd cry if I wasn't out of tears. Anyway, sorry for rambling. I love this forum.
:cool
