Have just had the email and we have PR in Principle

What is In Principle?

Really happy and really scared. Rhainnon planning surfing lessons, Andy ready to tell his office even though not planning to go until the Autumn.

Must get the house on the market now. What a whirlwind year, we must be good people to have been this lucky.

Moving to such a beautiful country that wants us.

Well looking forward to a nice drink tonight.

Hi i think the in Principle bit just means that there could still be issues with getting the paperwork into your passport (expiry, forgery etc.) and that you pay your migrant fees etc. Naturally there won't be so very well done.

:cheers

Thanks

We didn't pay the migrant levy, thought we would wait until a little before we go (save a bit of money for now), and also Rhiannon needs a new passport (only 1 year left), which they have confirmed she needs.

Feel better now. Is it normal to feel happy and scared.

:exit

Feels so weird.

Unless you've paid your Migrant Levy you will have it "in Principle" :nice1

Well done...

Congratulation Jo and Andy. :clap :clap :nice1 :cheers

It is a weird feeling, we just got our approved in principle last week.

Half of me wants to rush onto a plane straightaway. :exit The other half is panicing at all the stuff I have to do. :eek

We are hoping to move in the Autumn too, either Christchurch, Napier or Nelson. Not sure yet, depends on my future hubbies job. So we may see you there.

Good luck hope your house sale etc goes smoothly.

That is how I am feeling, plus the what if's.

Hoping for Christchurch, but same as you, all depends on hubby getting a job.

Congrats to you too
