Since I was pointed in the direction of this forum i must have spent hours and hours on here reading about everyone and trawling through back posts about different subjects. IT TRUELY IS ADDICTIVE. I find myself having to stuff Emerson (15 months) into his pram at 3.15 and running up to school to collect Ayrton and Mika because i have become so engrossed in something on here.

I feel I have to say what a wonderful bunch of people you are and the information you hold between you all and freely offer to the rest of us new members is fantastic.

At some point I would hope to meet some of you and have already had pm's from a few people with advice and help. So thank you all what a wonderful place this is and I can't wait to log on and get my fix at least twice a day!!

Long may it continue!

There's a North West meet on Saturday, don't know if you're interested or if its too short notice. Its at the Salt Cellar (Junction 18 [i think] off the M6). There's another thread somewhere about.

I know you're from the 'other side' of the pennines, but I'm sure we wouldn't hold that against you!!!

Cheers
Jon

Marcia I know exactly what you mean. With me it is first thing in the morning reading the overnight posts, and having to rush to get Callum to school.

BTW are you a Grand Prix fan.

We sure are, they are all named after Mclaren world champions!!

Our surname is Smith and we wanted something a bit different for them and once we started on the theme we had to continue - we even had one for a girl! Can you guess who??

Marcia

I thought you had vanished of the face of the earth...seems you were just reading too much! :laugh

I thought all Huddersfield schools kicked out at 3.10pm. That would make you very late indeed! Which school is your lot at?

How's the reasearch going?

Amanda

Hi you two sorry not pm'd for a while - so much info to take in!

The boys go to Reinwood - one in the infants and one in the juniors. (Makes my life twice as hard, I'm a governor for both schools) One school finishes at 3.20 the other at 3.25. Most days the boys walk down to the lollypop man on reinwood road and i meet them there - (they just come out of the school gates and a short walk down the road, no roads to cross before the lollpopman) We meet there and then it's just a five minute walk home.

Research going Ok - this forum is great - as I said before friendly people and SOOOOOOOOOOOO much information.

Will speak to you soon!
