Yes your relationship is defacto, they may ask for evidence that you live togther, this can be joint council tax bills, mortgage statement anything like that. We also threw in some holiday photos.

We used our NI number for both it was fine

Hello Paul & Helen

Your social security number is on the format of AB123456A. Your tax number is that of your issuing tax office, this will prove that you have paid your taxes ;) (I'm assuming you are UK based?)

You will have to prove evidence of your relationship with your partner and that you have been living together for at least 1 year; we had to do the same. We particularly liked the bit where it asked to prove that we are in an "exclusive sexual relationship" - how do you prove that :laugh :laugh

We included lots of photo's, cards to & from one another, copy of our tenancy agreement, letters from friends to say we are a couple, invitations we have jointly received. We have raised substantial amounts of money for charity and included some press cuttings showing us doing "joint ventures". We also included a couple of pics of me with Keith's family to prove that I am part of his life.

Whatever you can provide, send it in.

Good Luck

Keith & Debby

Hi guys,
Thank you for the replys and clearing those points up.
We have been talking about it and we've come to the conclusion that were better off applying seperately. Even though we have been together for years we both have our own houses and we just spend time mainly at helens sometimes mine, so it would be difficult to prove. Plus Helen scores as many points as me on her own, its just a shame we can't go as a couple.
Thanks again
Paul

I thought I'd add our experience in case anyone else is in the same situation. We have been in a relationship for 1.5 years, but only have a paper trail since since last October.

My fiancee has his phone interview this morning & our case worker said what will happen is that since everything else in our application is fine, she'll keep our paperwork and hold our application open until this coming October, so we can send her more relationship proof (all the things Keith & Debbie mentioned that we can collect for the next 5 months) . I think we could get WTR now and reapply for PR later on, but since we're not moving until early next year we'd much rather wait a few months to (hopefully) get the PR.

Thanks to all who've posted interview questions on past threads! They helped us so much & the phone interview went well. It's great to be able to be out of limbo and make plans, finally :smile
