Hello,
Can anyone tell me about storage space.

There are several things that I need to bring with us from our previous business, but initially we want to rent a very small place (2 adults and 1 child).
Questions:
1. Do most homes have an attic or a basement? In the Aukland area? How about in the Napier/Gisborne area where construction may be different.
2. Are small storage fascilities available (self storaage and climate controled) how much do they usually run?

Yep theres plenty of storage co. over here where you can rent secure 'rooms' sizes from a broom cupboard to bigger than a double garage.

Hi Junnifer,

Heaps of self storage but you need to book the good ones sometimes as they are very popular. Look for a MAF approved one and you wont go far wrong. We pay NZ$245/month for one that measures 6m x 3m x 3 m enough for a 20' container plus room to move stuff around.
