Does anyone know if schools in Nz get inspected, or have a grade given to them like they do in the uk - or a PANDA report or anything to tell you which schools are performing well.

I know ofsted is really for the gov't statics - the SATS etc are very dependent on catchment area - but its a starting point for looking at schools. Any good links to information about schools would be appreciated.
