Cripes,

Section now changed from “payment received” to “selected”.

Big kid stuff.

What happens next?

Cheers,

Neil

Congrats Neil :nice1 :cheers
Next they will probably (hopefully) send you an ITA, Invitation to Apply, so then you will have to come up with the proof in paper and test(s) for what you filled out on that EOI. More fun!!! :laugh

Hi,

Thanks for that, sounds good.

I've got all the paperwork to hand and think I was fairly straight up on the EOI.

So, hopefully bring it on :cheers

Cheers,

Neil

Congratulations, :clap :clap

We were also selected 25.5.05 after a year of research / dithering I feel we are finally on the way towards NZ.

Had the first real feellings of anxiaty over the whole move as well!!

Our two children are the only (much spoilt) grandchildren on both sides. More nervas about telling our parents than moving to the other side of the world! How daft is that??

Hi,

It was indeed a strange thing, for around a year we had debated it, so earlier this year I sold the house, paid all the bill, rented for another 4 months and decided to go for it.

I missed the last selection date by submitting one day late.

The only time I really had cold feet was last Sunday whilst climbing in the Peaks. I sat down (failed a route) the sun shone, the valleys lit up, birds swooped overhead and I though I’d really miss this.

It then rained hard and I dismissed it.

Still there was a fair old bit of finger nail chewing on Tuesday waiting/hoping that we would be selected.

So now we’ll see what we see.

Cheers,

Neil

We haven't sold the house yet, waiting for the ITA to put it up on the market.

Last night we received an email from Dot, no subject line, my spam program had already chucked it into the SPAM box, but usually I check those anyway and there it was, an email from a lady, working for the admistration of the Pool of the NZIS with the official message of the NZIS that we are selected, things will be sent off to London branch and a case officer will then be assigned and look into things.

I'm glad I checked that spam box, almost emptied it! :eek
