After all the months of planning, waiting for ITA's ect, why is it now that's come down to the last two weeks everything is such a mad rush?
I'm sure time speeds up as you approach your leaving day :yes
There's still goodbye visits to family, packing and cleaning to do and the shippers arrive on Thursday.
I think it's time to get cracking and stop reading the forum :exit

When you leave, people who wouldn't have visited you the next 5 years will want to have one more visit in the last few weeks you're here :laugh
I bet it's going to be hectic, but a lot of un as well. Enjoy it, you'll have to do enough things by your complete self once you arrive in NZ. ;)

Know how you feel, we started to get organised in Jan, lining up car sales, house ready for marketing, dog transport quotes, packing quotes, you think you are as organised as you can be, but stupid little things like remembering to read a meter before you leave, cancelling insurances and such, all take a lot longer than you think and you end up running about in a panic.

We leave six weeks on Saturday (fingers crossed) ...... we've been thinking about this move for 16 years, actually planning it for the last 12 months .... and still I have an endless list of things to do.
I feel like we have one of those clocks like in 'countdown' on the wall and each second represents a day.
I'll still be running around like a scalded cat at the last minute - but it's good fun (NOT).
