The price of 96 octane rose to 127.9c, and diesel to 82.9c.

I hate to think what the price would be if the kiwi dollar wasn't flying so high at the moment...

I don't really mind a rise in petrol just now, as there is an inverse relationship between the price of petrol, and the strengh of the NZD. Petrol has risen 4c this week, becuase the kiwi dollar has fallen. All petrol is imported, it's not totally related to oil prices.

As I'm transfering the proceds of the house sale in the next month, this is a good thing for us.

Pain for everyone else though... :no

In the last week the petrol price has gone from 128.9 down to 117.9 then back up to 121.9 -I think it just depends on whether the pump manager's had a bad day or not.
